Self-Assessment

Would you like to know the state of your muscles? Conduct a simple self assessment.

Step 1.

Raise your top eyelids ONLY as in shock, bulging your eyes.

Step 2.

Your forehead should stay smooth and relaxed.

Pout your lips in a beak-like shape as if you wanted to give someone an exaggerated kiss. The beak should NOT be sharp.

Squint your lower eyelids (as if looking at someone suspiciously).

If you answered “A” most of the times:

You’re not sure if you contracted the muscles indicated.
